Dear Conversation Cafe Women;

October is just around the corner and Conversation Cafe will be resuming on October 4th at Tazza D’Oro from 7-9pm. The topic will be: HOW DOES THE SUPPORT OF WOMEN ENRICH YOUR LIFE? Patricia and I want to apprciate those of you that took the time and energy to respond to our community questions. Thank you! We hope so see you all on Oct. 4th and that we can fill up the cafe with all of our voices.

Dear Conversation Cafe Community;

Patricia and I are asking and encouraging the Women of the Conversation Cafe Community to make a contrabution to our scholarship fund for our next Women’s Wisdom Weekend on October 19, 20 and 21. The weekend is fast approaching and we currently have $90.00 in our fund. Our goal is to have $300.00 in our fund to be able to provide to one half scholarships to women who are in need and would like to participate in the weekend. We are asking for cash contrabutions( we hope to be set up for check donations in the future). There will be an envelope behind the counter at Tazza Doro’s to drop off your donations. Thankyou for your support of Women’s community and self-discovery.

We also wanted to announce that Conversation Cafe will be cancelled for the month of September(Sept. 6th). We will be sending out an email to the Community discussing this further and asking for you feedback. We will resume Conversation Cafe as scheduled in october–October 4th

I hope you all are taking in the season of spring with all her changes and growth. We wanted to remind you about Conversation Cafe this Thursday May 3rd from 7 pm to 9 pm. The theme is CHANGE!!!!. We also wanted to invite all of you that have a Conversation Cafe T-shirt to wear it in honor of our one year anniversary. Thanks to all of you for co-creating the success of CCW. Dear Conversation Cafe Women

Happy Spring to all.   Patricia and I are still talking about the vulnurablilty shared during our last gathering with appreciation and respect.  We decided to follow up our last topic about Sex with the topic of Intimacy.  We invite you to begin to reflect on “What does intimacy mean to you?” and “How do you live intimacy personally?”  Hope to see you on April 5th.  Enjoy the soft spring energy and lightness.

I have been sitting with the last Conversation Cafe, and continue to be touched and honored to have been a witness to such courage. Talking about sex is courageous, it leaves us open to our vunerability of feeling judged or different. And as a result of hearing honest sharing, whether it was my experience or not, seemed to soften my held self judgements. I want to open the possibiltiy of continuing the conversation through the blog, to deepen connections and keep contact. So the question I want to ask and hear from you is…..how were you impacted by what you heard, what you shared and what you felt. I want to open this to all topics covered by CCW, not just the recent one on sex. I look forward to our dialogue. Blessings, Patricia
