Eggs? Really?

This past week 380 million eggs have been recalled!  Eggs, guys, eggs!  This quasi business model and notion of factory “farming” doesn’t work and continues to send us lessons of unsustainable practices that continue to be harmful to our food production, our land and animals.  Find your local farms, get to know them and purchase your food from places that support local, healthy food production.

This morning as Rachel prepares brunch at the shop and me at home the only thing we will be contemplating is what other locally grown ingredient should we use in our fresh eggs!!!
