Jose’ Rosendo Matabajoy – Narino, Colombia. Through our amazing partnership with Counter Culture Coffee, td’o is once again bringing to Pittsburgh our 3rd exclusive coffee!  As always, our exclusive coffees must be exquisite along with being aligned with our values and passions!  Here’s a little info on Jose’s farm.

José Rosendo Matabajoy
Farm Name: El Guamo
Buesaco- Nariño, Colombia
1800 meters
Castillo- Colombia variety

This coffee comes from a project that Counter Culture is working on through CRS (catholic relief services) in Colombia – Narino.   Basically the project is all about setting up an infrastructure and marketplace for farmers in Narino to be able to sell their coffees at higher prices and better premiums to roasters like Counter Culture. Up until this year, coffee from Jose would have been blended into huge lots and unrecognized.

The coffee will arrive at td’o on Tuesday, late afternoon…stay tuned for more about the YUM and how we plan to implement the best brewing techniques.

Many thanks to Jose’ and Counter Culture!
